BUTLWE02 -- LoRa Wall Button (P2P)
Product Descriptionβ
The wall button switches an Aqua-Scope motor directly via LoRa radio (868 MHz) and queries the current motor status. The LED behind button "1" indicates the motor switching state: red = closed, green = open. Mount with screws or double-sided adhesive tape on any dry, flat surface. Alternatively, the device can be placed freely. Power supply: CR2032 battery (pre-installed).
The button can also send a control signal to an Aqua-Scope sensor (AQS, AQM, AQX), e.g., to clear an alarm.
LoRa P2Pβ
LoRa P2P is a special protocol based on LoRa. Unlike LoRaWAN, it requires no network infrastructure and enables direct communication between individual devices.
In the Aqua-Scope system, LoRa P2P is used to communicate between sensors and motors independently of any network infrastructure such as Wi-Fi or LoRaWAN. Thanks to LoRa, this wireless connection is very robust and easily bridges radio links even into deep basements.
This device can therefore only be used for direct communication with other Aqua-Scope devices. The respective devices must be paired with each other, which is done either via the Aqua-Scope App or by pressing buttons.
For every LoRa P2P device, there is also a corresponding LoRaWAN device that can be used directly in a LoRaWAN network.
Installationβ
- Pry the rocker switch off the main housing using a screwdriver or knife
- Pull the tab on the CR2032 battery (activates the battery)
- Snap the rocker back on
- Mount with screws or double-sided adhesive tape on a dry, flat surface
Pairing with Motorβ
In factory state, the LED behind button "1" flashes red/green (pairing mode):
- On the target device (motor or sensor), press the button twice briefly
- On success, the LEDs go out -- connection established
If a device is already paired: Use the 1-button menu (command 1) to delete the existing binding. The LED returns to red/green flashing.
